The petitioner seeks for a temporary permit in a route, in which a regular permit is said to have been surrendered.
2.
The learned Government Pleader on instruction submits that, the permit itself had expired in the year 2009 itself. It is also submitted that the Field Officer's report has been called for. Definitely, the need for a service and existence of vacant timings etc. would have to be examined before consideration of regular permit application.
3. In such circumstances, the Field Officer's report shall be expedited and the temporary permit application shall be considered within a period of three weeks from today.
The writ petition is disposed of.
