JUDGMENT

Petitioner had filed the above writ petition challenging the demand raised on the basis of the orders issued under Section 7Q and Section 14B of the Employees Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. Section 7Q demand has been satisfied subsequently. With respect to Section 14B, the same remains for consideration, is the contention of the petitioner, on orders issued by this Court. In such circumstance, the learned counsel would request that the above writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous, leaving open the contentions of the petitioner with respect to the proceedings under Section 14B.

The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, leaving open the contentions of either party to be raised at the appropriate time. K. Vinod Chandran, Judge.
