JUDGMENT

Petitioner was appointed/promoted as Headmistress in the 2nd respondent school on 01.06.2012. However, the proposal forwarded by the Manager has not been approved by the District Education Officer and thereafter, in appeal by the Deputy Director of Education. Challenging the above orders, Manager preferred revision before the Director of Public Instruction. Petitioner also moved the Government by Ext.P3. Petitioner seeks an early disposal of Ext.P3 by the Government.

In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of Ext.P3 after hearing the petitioner and Manager within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. In view of the above direction, the Director of Public Instruction is directed to keep proceedings relating to the revision filed by the Manager in abeyance till a decision is taken by the first respondent in Ext.P3. Petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment to the Manager as well as the Director of Public Instruction.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
