JUDGMENT

The petitioner was granted Ext. P1 quarrying permit on 04.12.2013, for pursuing quarrying operation in the property having an extent of 2.25 acres in Thazhekkode village comprised in R.S. No. 90/1A1. It is stated that due payment has already been satisfied by the petitioner, as evident from Ext. P2. But the quarrying operation could not be started because of various reasons, including public protest. It is stated that all the disputes have been settled and that the petitioner has approached the respondent by filing Ext. P4 representation for extension of time to complete the activities covered by Ext. P1. The only prayer now pressed before this Court is to cause Ext. P4 to be considered by the respondent within a reasonable time.

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext. P4 representation, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as

possible, at any rate, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

Petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along with copy of the writ petition before the respondent for further steps. The Writ Petition is disposed of.
