JUDGMENT
Shaffique, J.
The petitioners have approached this Court seeking police protection, alleging that Respondents 2 and 3 have threatened the petitioner stating that the loading and unloading work relating to carrying rubber sheets in their vehicle should be given to them and if not, they should be given 'nokkukooli'. The 1st petitioner submitted Ext.P1 complaint, inter alia complaining that Respondents 2 and 3 have no right to demand 'nokkukooli' and to obstruct the petitioners from carrying out the loading and unloading activities by themselves.
2. The learned State Attorney, on instructions, would submit that after receiving Ext.P1 complaint on 08.01.2015, the petitioners as well as Respondents 2 and 3 were summoned to the police station on 12.01.2015 and the matter was discussed and Respondents 2 and 3 have assured that
W.P.(C) No.2908 of 2015 they will not interfere with the activities of the petitioners.
3. Having regard to the fact that the police has already taken action on Ext.P1 complaint, we do not think that any further orders are necessary. We record this submission of the learned State Attorney and close this writ petition. Sd/- ASHOK BHUSHAN, ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE.
