J U D G M E N T

The petitioner seeks issuance of a temporary permit in a regular permit. It is admitted that the vehicle, which was endorsed with the permit has been released from the permit after obtaining clearance certificate, but keeping the permit under suspended animation. The petitioner is said to be continuously operating on the route on the temporary permit, the re-issue of which is sought for in the writ petition. Admittedly, the time for replacement is available till 13.02.2015 and the permit itself is valid till 02.08.2019. It is submitted that the basic permit holder has not started operation and has not produced the current records of the vehicle.

2. In such circumstance, the petitioner can be issued with a temporary permit of 20 days, which shall be

W.P.(C) No.3340 of 2015 - N issued expeditiously, subject however to any replacement being made by the original permit holder.

The writ petition is disposed of.
