JUDGMENT

The petitioner was a Lecturer in Sahitya in Calicut Adarsha Sanskrit Vidyapeetha. The petitioner entered in the service as Junior Lecturer on 20.1.1981. The petitioner was promoted as Lecturer in 1988.

2. The petitioner submits that he is entitled for selection grade on completion of five years service as Lecturer (senior scale) as per the UGC Regulation. It is submitted that newly constituted selection committee also found that the petitioner is eligible for the placement in the selection grade. The petitioner relies on Ext.P3. The petitioner submits that in spite of the finding that the petitioner is eligible for selection grade, no consequential benefits has been given to him. The petitioner also claimed that he is entitled for the pay revision

W.P.(C) No.3458 of 2015 2 with effect from 1.1.2006 as Associate Professor. From 1.1.2006 the Lecturer selection grade has been re-designated as Associate Professor with Pay Revision. It is submitted by the petitioner that the fourth respondent has already recommended the petitioner's case and the same is pending before the third respondent. The petitioner also highlighted his grievances by Ext.P5 before the third respondent. Considering the pendency of Ext.P5, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
