J U D G M E N T

The petitioner contends that higher compensation was awarded in respect of similar lands covered by the same notification. My attention was drawn to the common Award in LAR.Nos.7, 8 and 9 of 2006. The petitioner has already suffered the Award in LAR.No.1/2005. The remedy open to the petitioner is to file an Land Acquisition Appeal against LAR.No.1/2005. The Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is not the proper remedy.

The Writ Petition is dismissed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner as above. Sd/- V.CHITAMBARESH, Judge.
