J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is contract carriage permit holder plying her autorikshaws in Thiroor. Though the petitioner applied for variation of permit by Ext.P3 dated 08.01.2015, the respondent till not considered such application till date. The petitioner produced a judgment of this Court in WP(C) No.31443/2014. This Court has in Rajesh v. Secretary, RTA [2014(3) KLT 341], held that such general orders cannot be passed by the RTA and each application has to be considered individually and a reasoned order passed under Section 80(2) of The Kerala Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. In such circumstances, the application filed by the petitioner shall be accepted to the files of the RTA, Thrissur, and the same shall be considered within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
