This writ petition has been filed seeking for police protection alleging that the 4th respondent is threatening the petitioner and her family members. It is submitted that though complaints were given to the police alleging that the 4th respondent had manhandled the petitioner and had even tried to molest her, no action was taken by the police. The petitioner, further, would say that in respect of the incidents that occurred on 22.12.2013 and 24.12.2013, crime has been registered as Crime No.704 of 2013. According to the petitioner, threat still continues and hence, appropriate direction may be issued.
2.
Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that after filing of the writ petition, no untoward incident has been reported. That apart, it is submitted that the petitioner and the 4th respondent are neighbours and whenever complaint has been received, appropriate action has also been taken by the police.
W.P.(C) No.3900 of 2014 -: 2 :- 3.
Having regard to the aforesaid factual situation, we do not think that any direction as sought for can be issued in this writ petition. We only observe that if there is any offence committed or attempt to commit offence, it shall be open for the petitioner to file appropriate complaint before the police, who shall look into the matter and do the needful.
With the above observation, this writ petition is closed. Sd/- ASHOK BHUSHAN CHIEF JUSTICE Sd/- A.M. SHAFFIQUE J UDGE Jvt/16.12.2015
