J U D G M E N T

The petitioner was running a stage carriage with a regular permit between Vadakara to Kozhikode. The petitioner sought for an extension from Vadakara to Thiruvalloor and also conversion of his service as a Limited Stop Ordinary Service. The RTA, Vadakara by Ext.P2 allowed the extension and directed the Secretary RTA to conduct a detailed enquiry and file a report on the conversion aspect.

2. Hence, pending conversion, the petitioner is operating as an ordinary service. The petitioner's only request is that the enquiry be expedited and the RTA be directed to consider the application for conversion. In such circumstance, the 2nd respondent shall expedite the

W.P.(C) No.3768 of 2015 - U enquiry and file a report at any rate within three weeks from today and the RTA shall consider the issue within two months from the date of receipt of the report, if possible in the then next RTA meeting itself or by circulation; if permissible.

The writ petition is disposed of.
