JUDGMENT
Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan, J.
Petitioner claims to be a devotee and seeks a direction regarding land acquisition for the purpose of Guruvayoor Temple and its necessary institutional infrastructure.
2.
Learned Standing Counsel for Guruvayoor Devaswom submits that a sub committee has been constituted by the Guruvayoor Devaswom Managing Committee and the said sub committee is studying the requirement and the proposal for further acquisition. It is also submitted that further acquisition will be resorted to as and when required. It goes without saying that law as may be applicable would then govern the acquisition proceedings. We, therefore, direct that the Devaswom will expedite the consideration of the matter stated to be pending before the sub committee.
This writ petition is ordered accordingly without entering further on merits.
