Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader.

No notice is required to be issued on respondent No.2, in view of the nature of order being passed in the writ petition. 3.
This writ petition has been field alleging police harassment and seeking for a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner. Petitioners' case is that they were called on 26.1.2015 at the police station for recording their statement in connection with a civil dispute between the parties. 4.
Learned Government Pleader after obtaining instructions would submit that the petitioners were called on 26.1.2015 on the basis of a complaint received from the 2nd respondent and after recording the statement, it transpired that the dispute is essentially a civil dispute. Hence, the police has already closed the matter.
