JUDGMENT
The writ petitioner herein seeks a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation in the Ext.P5 crime registered under the Preventions of Corruption Act and submit a final report in the crime expeditiously. Now there is a report by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, VACB, Eastern Range, Kottayam that effective investigation is going on. The police will have to seize the material documents as part of the investigation. The Investigating Officer requires three months more to complete the investigation and to submit the final report. It is submitted that the VACB has already obtained the necessary sanction for prosecution. In such a situation, the writ petitioner will not have any grievance. The Investigation Officer is confident that the final report could be submitted within three months.
