JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers :
"i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondents to accept land tax from the petitioner in respect of his land covered by Ext. P1 (in Sy. No. 205/11A1 in Kottappadi village, Vythiri Taluk, Wayand district) from the year 1999 onwards in continuation of Ext. P2 dated 29.04.1998 ii) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate st respondent writ, order or direction commanding the 1 to pass expeditious orders on Ext. P5.
And iii) Grant such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of this case including the cost of this Writ Petition.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner has already been projected before the first
W.P.(C) No. 3905 of 2015 : 2 :
respondent by way of Ext.P5 and that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is given to the said respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders thereon within a reasonable time
3. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
4. Considering the limited nature of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to adjudicate the matter on merits. The Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext. P5 representation preferred by the petitioner, after hearing, at the earliest, at any rate, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along with copy of the writ petition before the first respondent for further steps.
