The petitioner has approached this Court seeking Police Protection.

He says that he is a business man and there is an attempt on the part of the 4th respondent, who is a former employee, to steal the money as he is aware of the financial transactions and daily transfer of cash deposit to the Bank. The petitioner has given several complaints to the Police. Since no action has been taken, this Writ Petition is filed. 3.
A perusal of the complaint given by the petitioner does not disclose a case for grant of Police Protection. His compliant is that an attempt is being made by the 4th respondent to snatch away the money belonging to the petitioner.
W.P.(C) No. 3963/2015 -24.
Learned State Attorney submits that Exts.P3 and P4 do not indicate any case for Police Protection. If there is attempt to commit any offence, the Police has to take necessary action in the matter.
Having regard to the facts in the complaint, we do not think that a direction, as sought for, is required to be passed in this case. It is observed that the Police shall look into Exts.P3 and P4 and take appropriate action.
Writ Petition is dismissed.
