The petitioner prayed for variation and the same is granted at Ext.P1 on 28.11.2014. There is also said to be a vehicle which is currently valid in the regular permit. In such circumstance, there is no reason why the, Secretary, Regional Transport Authority does not expedite consideration of issuance of permit, which however is delayed only because of settlement of timing not being effected.
2. In such circumstance, the Secretary, RTA shall consider the settlement of timings within a period of two months and if it is not possible to convene a timing conference within that time, then the permit shall be issued

on the proposed timings, however, pending finalisation of the timings in the properly convened RTA meeting. The writ petition would stand disposed of.
