J U D G M E N T
Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

The petitioner, by this writ petition, has prayed for a direction to the respondents to give effective and adequate protection for the life and properties of the petitioner and other Hindi speaking workers, working in the furniture units of Nellikuzhi Grama Panchayat and their family members. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an incident took place on 5.2.2015 with some local people in the locality, who threatened the petitioner and other workers. Allegations have also been made that there was attack on the petitioner and other workers and some of them suffered injuries. A complaint dated 8.2.2015, Ext.P1 has been submitted by the petitioner to the Director General of Police, the District Superintendent of Police, Ernakulam, the Sub Inspector of Police, Kothamangalam and the District Collector, Ernakulam. Petitioner's case is that no appropriate protection has been
W.P.(C) No.4242 of 2015 -: 2 :- provided by the police authorities nor the District Administration has taken any action.

Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that an incident dated 5.2.2015 has been reported, in which, certain local workers were attacked, for which, a crime was registered, in which, the petitioner is an accused. It is also submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner and other workers, a crime has also been registered against the local people. It is submitted that after the said incident, no further incident is reported and that the submission of the petitioner that police authorities are not looking into the matter or not taking appropriate action is incorrect. Be that as it may, the petitioner has already filed a complaint on 8.2.2015, Ext.P1, we direct the 3rd respondent to look into the complaint and take appropriate measures in accordance with law.
With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of.
