The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:

"(a) Direct the first Respondent to consider the Petitioner's Application SM No.2802/2013 for issuance of Purchase Certificate in respect of 40 cents of land in Sy.No.61 of Anakkara Village and pass orders on merit within a specified period;

(b) Grant such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." 2.

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 3.

Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to adjudicate the issue on merits. 4.

After hearing both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to consider SM No.2702/2013 which is pending before the 1st respondent, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of four months after completing all the formalities including issuance of notice to the petitioner and other interested parties if any.
