JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:
"(a) Direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application S.M. No.157/2014 for issuance of Purchase Certificate in respect of two Acres ten cents of land in Sy Nos.57/1, 56/15 and 55/1 of Nellaya Village and to pass orders on merit within a specified period, by issuing a writ of mandamus.
(b) Grant such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."
2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
3. Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to adjudicate the issue on merits.
4. After hearing both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on S.M. No.157/2014, which is pending consideration before him, after completing all the formalities, including issuance of notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible, at the earliest, at any rate,
W.P.(C) No.4602 of 2015 within 'four months' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment, along with a copy of the writ petition, before the first respondent, for further steps.
