JUDGMENT

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader. No notice is being issued to respondent Nos. 6 to 8 in view of the order which is being passed.
2. The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to render adequate and sufficient police protection to the life of the petitioner from 4th respondent. Petitioner's case is that 4th respondent has earlier attacked the husband of petitioner for which a crime has been registered, which is now pending trial. It is submitted that the 4th respondent has now attacked the petitioner and her son on 01.01.2015 with regard to which a complaint has been submitted and crime has also been registered.
3. Learned Government Pleader after obtaining instructions submitted that a crime has also been registered against the petitioner's son, which is also pending trial. He submits that after receiving the complaint, police has called the
WP(C) No. 4683 of 2015 -:2:- 4th respondent and the petitioner are warned that law and order be maintained in the area. In the above view of the matter, we see no reason to give any reliefs as sought for. We, however, observe that in the event, any offence is committed or there is any attempt to commit offence, it is always open for the petitioner to submit appropriate complaint, which may be looked into and appropriate action be taken.
With the above observation, the Writ Petition is closed. Ashok Bhushan, Acting Chief Justice.
