JUDGMENT

Petitioners were retired from the service of Kerala Agricultural University in the year 2012. They approached this Court on account of non-disbursal of Dearness Allowance arrears. 2.

Learned Standing Counsel for the University submits that on account of financial constraints, they are unable to pay arrears due to the petitioners. They requests for some more time to pay the arrears.

3.

Considering the facts and circumstance, there shall be a direction to the University to disburse entire arrears due to the petitioners within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. If the University fails to pay the amount within the time mentioned above, the amount will carry interest @6% per annum from the date of default.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.

Sd/- A.MUHAMED MUSTAQUE, JUDGE.
