The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers :

"i. issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the fourth respondent to take a decision on exhibit P4 representation submitted by the petitioner within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court. ii. Grand such other and further relief as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper to grant in the facts and circumstances of this case."

Though the petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 application to the 3rd respondent seeking permission to construct a residential house in his property, the same was rejected. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has submitted Ext.P4 representation before the 4th respondent, which is pending consideration. It is stated that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is given to the 4th respondent to have it considered and finalised within a reasonable time.

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

WP(c). No.4731 of 2015 4.

After hearing both sides, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 4th respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P4, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. It shall be done, as expeditiously as possible, and at any rate, within a period of 'two months' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along with a copy of this writ petition before the 4th respondent for further steps.
