J U D G M E N T

Ashok Bhushan, J Heard the counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. No notice is required to be issued to the 3rd respondent in view of the nature of Judgment being passed in the Writ Petition.

This Writ Petition has been filed alleging police harassment. The petitioner prays for a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner by pressurizing him to pay the amount illegally demanded by the 3rd respondent.

Learned Government Pleader, after obtaining instructions, submitted that complaint was submitted by the 3rd respondent to the Superintendent of Police, which has

W.P.(C) No. 4780/2015 -2been forwarded to the 2nd respondent for enquiry. In connection of the said complaint, the petitioner was called to appear at the Police Station. But since he did not appear, complaint could not be enquired. It is submitted that no kind of arrest has been meted to the petitioner by the Police, since he has not appeared so far.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall co-operate with the investigation. In the above view of the matter, we do not find that this is a case of police harassment. The petitioner may appear before the police station as required by the authority.
