JUDGMENT

The petitioner is working in the Revenue Department. He approached this Court with the following reliefs: i). Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction directing the 4th respondent to complete the enquiry in VC 3/2012 expeditiously within a time frame to be fixed by this court in the interest of justice.

ii). Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction directing the respondents to sanction an disburse the retirement benefits, and gratuity amount due to the petitioner without any further delay.

2. The relief No. (ii) is not maintainable before this Court. Accordingly, at the admission stage itself this Court noted that the relief No. (i) alone is maintainable.

3. The Government has filed a statement before this Court. In respect of relief No. (i), it is stated in paragraph 5 of

W.P.(C) No.4950/2015 .2.

the statement as follows:

"5. Investigation in the case is completed and legal opinion from Additional Legal Advisor, Kozhikode to prosecute the petitioner herein along with document writer and Sri.Abdul Ali has been obtained and the matter is now pending for scrutiny."

4. In view of the above facts, the scrutiny shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
