J U D G M E N T
The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers :
"i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction directing the 1st respondent to dispose of Ext.P6 petition within a time frame.
ii) Issue any other appropriate order or direction which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the nature and circumstances of the case"

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 3.
Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not fit it necessary to issue notice to the 2nd respondent. After hearing both sides, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P6, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the second respondent. It shall be done, as expeditiously as possible, and at any rate, within a period of 'six weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
