JUDGMENT

The petitioner has come up before this Court aggrieved by the refusal of the respondent to give water connection to him. This Court by interim order dated 06.03.2014 directed the respondent to provide water connection to the petitioner's residence without insisting on the production of the written consent from the landlord expeditiously and in any event within two weeks from the date of production of a copy of the said order.

2. Today when the matter came up for hearing, it was submitted by both sides that on the basis of the interim order, water connection has been provided to the petitioner. As there is no surviving cause of action, the writ petition is closed making the interim order absolute.
