The petitioner had been granted a regular permit and admittedly no current records of a vehicle was offered for issuance of the same. However, in the meanwhile, the petitioner had sought for a temporary permit and had obtained the same, with respect to a particular stage carriage vehicle. Now a further application for temporary permit is filed with a different vehicle than that was offered in the earlier application for temporary permit. The mere fact that another vehicle is offered cannot stand against the petitioner. In any way, the application shall be considered in accordance with law by the authority within a period of two weeks from today.
The writ petition is disposed of.
