JUDGMENT

The petitioner purchased an extent of 2.17 Ares of land as per Ext.P1 sale deed comprised in Re.Sy.No.98 in Bl.No.74 of Muttambalam Village. The petitioner filed Ext.P2 application for mutating his property before the second respondent. The delay in effecting mutation, in terms of the relevant provisions of 'Transfer of Registry Rules', made the petitioner to approach this Court by filing this writ petition.

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 3.

Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to go in to the merits of the case. The writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2, within a period of 'one month' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
