JUDGMENT

The petitioner seeks the following reliefs :

"i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the third respondent to remove the name, photograph and other entries of the petitioner from the goonda/rowdy list published in Puthukadu Police Station and remove the same from the notice board placed in the police station.

ii) Issue such other writ, orders or directions, which this Honourable court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice and circumstances of the case."

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was convicted by the Sessions Court, Thrissur as S.C.No.101/1988 in a crime registered in Cherppu Police Station. It is also submitted that the

W.P.(C).No. 5300 of 2015 -2petitioner's name and photograph and other entries are included as goonda and rowdy list in Puthukadu Police Station. The petitioner submits that he was not involved in any offence at present. He has already suffered as a sentence in connection with a crime registered in Cherppu Police Station.

3. The learned Government Pleader submits that the petitioner's photographs are not exhibited in the notice board.

4. This Court is of the view that if the petitioner's photograph and name are displayed in the notice board or any visible places, that shall be removed.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
