JUDGMENT

Shaffique, J.

Petitioners have approached this Court alleging harassment by police. The 3rd respondent is the husband of 2nd petitioner, who is involved in certain criminal cases and he is in custody of the police. It is alleged that petitioners were summoned to the police station and they were asked to produce certain gold ornaments.

2. Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that the 3rd respondent was involved in several criminal offences including theft of gold ornaments and petitioners were questioned. Now they are absconding from the said place and police is in search of them. In view of the above we are of the opinion that this is not a case which involves harassment by police. Petitioners were summoned to the police station as part of investigation and for recovery of the stolen articles. Under

WP(C) No. 5381 of 2015 -:2:- such circumstances we do not think that it is necessary to pass any order in this matter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
