JUDGMENT

The order of status quo in Writ Appeal Nos. 227, 224 and 574 of 2001 does not disable a single phase connection to be altered into a three phase electricity connection. So is the case with regard to the order of status quo passed in SLP (C) Nos. 5049, 506 and 5067 of 2007 when the petitioner admittedly enjoys a single phase connection.

The respondents are hence directed to provide three phase electricity connection to the petitioner in the place of the existing single phase connection. This is however subject to the technical feasibility in regard to the building wherein three phase electricity connection is sought. The needful shall be done within a period of one month from the date production of a copy of this judgment.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
