JUDGMENT

The limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 rectification application, that has been filed by the petitioner for rectification of mistakes that have crept into Ext.P2 order passed against him.

2. I have heard Sri.S.Vinod Bhat, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri.Sudheesh Kumar, learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submissions made across the Bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 rectification application within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

Recovery steps for recovery of the amounts confirmed against the petitioner by Ext.P2 order shall be kept in abeyance till such time as the 1st respondent passes orders, as directed, and communicates the same to the petitioner.
