JUDGMENT

The petitioner has filed an application for regular permit in the route Karukaputhur - Pazhanji Cherakkal. Pending final disposal of regular permit application, the petitioner was also granted temporary permit which is valid till today (26.02.2015). The contention of the petitioner is that, at least the temporary permit may be re-issued.

2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that preliminary report is that there is an objectionable overlap in the route. The Secretary, RTA is said to have called for a detailed report. In such circumstances, no re-issuance can be granted at this point of time.

However, pending regular permit application, the Secretary shall consider the

WP(C).5761/15 application for temporary permit within a period of two weeks from today, after hearing the KSRTC to ascertain whether there is any objectionable overlap. If there is no objectionable overlap, necessarily, the issuance can be considered.

Writ petition disposed of.
