JUDGMENT

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader.

2. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging police harassment. Petitioner's case is that police personnel are asking the petitioner to appear in the police station and insisted him to make payment of an amount to 3rd respondent, which is never due on the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Pleader after obtaining instructions submitted that on receiving the complaint from 3rd respondent, petitioner was called to appear in station on telephone but he did not appear. Hence police went to his house where he was not found.

4. In view of the above facts we are of the opinion, present is not a case of police harassment.

WP(C) No. 5781 of 2015 -:2:- Petitioner shall appear before the police station and record his statement.

With the above observation, the Writ Petition is closed.
