JUDGMENT

The writ petitioner herein seeks a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to register a crime on Ext.P1 complaint made by her husband, and to conduct proper investigation. Now, there is report that the police has already registered a crime on the Ext.P1 complaint, and that effective investigation is going on. The writ petitioner is now satisfied, and her grievance stands practically redressed. In the above circumstances, the writ petition can be closed with direction to the investigating officer to make effective investigation, and submit final report without delay.

In the result, this petition is closed with direction to the investigating officer to conduct effective investigation in the crime registered on the writ petitioner's complaint, and submit final report, without any delay.
