JUDGMENT

The petitioner seeks electricity connection for agricultural purposes. Ext. P3 application put in by the petitioner is pending with the second respondent. The Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner is yet to meet the cost for effecting the service connection. 2.

The petitioner shall comply with all the requisite formalities for obtaining the connection. The same shall be done within a period of two weeks from today. The respondents shall process Ext. P3 application within two weeks thereafter. The entitlement of the petitioner to obtain free electricity connection for agricultural purposes shall also be considered. The writ petition is disposed of.
