JUDGMENT

Petitioner is working as Farm Assistant (Veterinary) Senior Grade at Farming System Research Station, Sadanandapuram under the Kerala Agricultural University. Petitioner submits that even though separate Farm Assistants in the service of University are borne out in two categories-Agriculture and Veterinary, petitioner is in the category of Veterinary. The University enacted separate first statute for both the categories prescribing method of appointment and qualifications. However, it is submitted that the hierarchy of post and salary and allowances are identical in both the categories. The post in the category of Agriculture were re-designated as Farm Officer, Farm Manager and Farm Superintendent without any monetary benefits as per Ext.P2 in the year 2007.

Petitioner also sought for re-designation of the post of Farm Assistant (Veterinary) Senior Grade inpari materia with the re-designated post allowed by Ext.P2. This request was produced as Ext.P3. It is submitted that no response has been received on Ext.P3 even though it is made as early as in the year, 2007. Ext.

W.P(C).No.5896 of 2015 Ext.P3.

In view of the limited request made before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider Exts.P3 and P4 and take appropriate decision thereon within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
