JUDGMENT
Shaffique, J.
The petitioner has approached this Court alleging police harassment. According to him, he is a tenant of the second respondent. On the basis of a complaint filed by the second respondent, he was summoned to the Police Station and he had agreed to vacate the premises by 31.5.2015. Later he was asked to give an undertaking that he should vacate by 28.12.2014. Subsequently also he was told to vacate the premises by 28.2.2015. According to him, the first respondent has no right to interfere in the matter and hence he has approached this Court.
2. The learned Government Pleader, on instruction, would submit that the Police have not involved in the civil dispute between the parties. On the basis of a complaint received from the second respondent, the Police
WP(C).6167/15 summoned the parties and they themselves have settled the matter and the petitioner had agreed to vacate the premises by 28.12.2014. The Police are not interfering with the matter, except that on the basis of the complaint, the Police called the parties and advised them to resolve the dispute by approaching the Civil Court. The Police do not intend to do anything further in the matter. We record the submission made by the learned Government Pleader and close the matter.
