JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:
"i) To issue a writ, direction or order in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent to take appropriate steps to conduct the investigation about the misappropriation by forging the documents, of the compensation amounts due to the legal heirs of the deceased Arun Sasi, by a competent investigating agency or through a police official above the rank of the Commissioner of police of the State;
ii) To issue a writ, direction or order in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent to take appropriate steps to get disbursed the compensation amount including the Diya money due to the legal heirs of the deceased Arun Sasi through the Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi"

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner has also been projected by way of Ext.P5, which is pending consideration before the respondent and the prayer is only to cause the same to be
-2considered and disposed of within a reasonable time. 3.
Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 4.
After hearing both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext. P5 in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, which shall be finalized at the earliest, at any rate, within 'three months' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the respondent for further steps.
