JUDGMENT

1. Petitioner is aggrieved with the non-consideration of a temporary permit application when a regular permit in the very same route has been granted. The issuance is delayed only for the reason of nonsettlement of timings. Petitioner also projects an urgent need, insofar as a temple festival being held in the area.

2. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the Filed Officer's report is not yet received. Since the regular permit has already been granted, there is no requirement of the Field Officer's report. In such circumstances, the temporary permit application, shall be considered, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one week from today and issued, if there is no other legal impediment.

Writ petition is disposed off.

K. Vinod Chandran, Judge.
