Shaffique, J.

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection alleging that the 3rd respondent was interfering with the business being carried on by the petitioner. A perusal of Ext.P2 complaint indicates that there is some financial transaction between the petitioner and the 3rd respondent and certain documents came to be executed in respect of the said liability. According to the petitioner, he intends to shift the goods and materials for a programme to be conducted from 23.2.2015 till 1.3.2015, for which, he requires police protection.

2.

Apparently, there is some dispute regarding the property, which cannot be adjudicated by the police. The remedy of the petitioner is to approach the civil court for obtaining appropriate orders. Under such circumstances, we do not think that a direction for police protection can be granted in the matter.

W.P.(C). No.6382 of 2015 -: 2 :- Hence, the writ petition is dismissed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to take any other proceedings as envisaged under the law.
