JUDGMENT
The petitioners have approached this Court with the following prayers:
"1.
To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ order or direction to the respondents directing the 1st respondent to issue a certificate as applied for under Ext.P2 and Ext.P2(a) and a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the Ext.P4 and Ext.P4(a) applications and issue a Police Clearance Certificate to the petitioners."
2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
3. Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to adjudicate the issue on merits.
4. After hearing both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P4 and P4(a) applications preferred by the petitioners, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, at the earliest, at any rate, within 'two weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
W.P.(C).No.6484 of 2015 Petitioners shall produce a copy of this judgment, along with a copy of the writ petition, before the second respondent, for further steps.
Sd/- P.R.RAMACHANDRA MENON, JUDGE.
