JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:

"i) issue a writ of mandamus or appropriate writ or order or direction, directing the 1st respondent to consider Exhibit P8 representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate order within a time limit fixed by this Hon'ble Court;

ii) issue a writ of mandamus or appropriate writ or order or direction, directing the 1st respondent to permit the petitioner to continue with the work permitted as per Exhibit P5 order and to grant extension of time originally fixed as per Exhibit P5 order;

And iv) such other reliefs this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the grievance of the petitioner has also been projected by way of Ext.P8 representation and that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is given to the first respondent to have it considered and finalized within a reasonable time.

W.P.(C) No.6544 of 2015

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

3. In view of the limited extent of relief sought for and proposed to be given, this Court does not find it necessary to deal with the merits of the case.

4. In the above circumstances, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P8 with notice to the petitioner and also to respondents 4 and 5, in accordance with law, after conducting a spot inspection, at the earliest, at any rate, within 'three weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this this judgment.

The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment, along with a copy of the writ petition, before the first respondent, for further steps.

The writ petition is disposed of.

P.R. RAMACHANDRA MENON, JUDGE.
