JUDGMENT
Shaffique, J.
Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection. It is inter alia contended that his son had purchased 25 cents of land at Oloppara in Kozhikode District. When the petitioner along with his workers had gone to the said property for taking usufruct from the property, they were obstructed by respondents 3 and 4. Though a complaint was preferred before the Ist and 2 nd respondents, no action has been taken in the matter and, hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this Writ Petition.
2.
The averments made in the Writ Petition would clearly
W.P. (C ) No. 6743 of 2015 disclose that the petitioner is unable to enjoy the property which belongs to his son and obstruction is caused by party respondents in the matter relating to enjoyment of the property. It is apparently a civil dispute to which the police cannot interfere. The police can interfere only if there is law and order situation.
In the above said circumstances, we are of the view that the petitioner will have to approach the appropriate civil court for necessary reliefs.
With the above observation, this Writ Petition is closed. Sd/-ASHOK BHUSHAN , Ag. CHIEF JUSTICE Sd/- A.M.SHAFFIQUE, JUDGE ani/ /true copy/ P.S. to Judge
