JUDGMENT

Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to disburse the balance admitted bill amount and also the retention amount in respect of the contract works undertaken by him, the details of which are referred to in the writ petition.

2. The petitioner has filed a memo stating that after the filing of the writ petition, the respondents have informed him that necessary fund for clearing his bills has already been sanctioned and the amount will be paid immediately. In such circumstances, the petitioner wants to 'not press' the writ petition, without prejudice to his right to approach this Court again if there is any dispute regarding payment of the bills. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as not pressed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner as aforesaid.
