JUDGMENT

Ashok Bhushan, CJ.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned State Attorney as well as learned counsel for the fourth respondent. Though notices were issued to the private respondents, no one appeared on behalf of respondents 5 to 12.

2. By this Writ Petition the petitioner prays for a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to give effective police protection for loading and unloading timber, cement and such other goods at the establishment of the petitioner. The petitioner's case is that the area where the petitioner is running furniture workshop and cement shop is not a scheme implemented area.

Learned counsel for the fourth respondent also does not dispute about the statement of the petitioner.

WP(C).7027/15

3. The area being not a scheme covered area, we are of the view that respondents 2 and 3 Police authorities have to provide adequate protection, if any obstruction is created on the loading and unloading work in the petitioner's establishment.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
