JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court alleging denial of promotion to the post of Principal in 'Kshethra Kalapeedam, Vaikom'. On the basis of seniority, recommendation was made by the Advisory Committee. The petitioner submits that he is the seniormost Instructor eligible to be promoted as Principal in 'Vaikom Kshethra Kalapeedam'.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the Travancore Devaswom Board points out a judgment of this Court in W.P. (C) No.3491 of 2015. The above writ petition was filed by one G. Krishnan, claiming the post of Principal of Vaikom Kshethra Kalapeedam. This Court directed to consider the claim of G. Krishnan for the above post. Therefore, it is submitted that a proper decision will be taken by the Board without any delay.

3. Considering the fact that Sri G. Krishnan has also raised a claim for this post apart from the petitioner, an appropriate decision shall be taken in the matter for filling up

W.P.(C) No.7240 of 2015 the post of Principal of Vaikom Kshethra Kalapeedam after hearing the petitioner and Sri G. Krishnan, Principal of Attingal Kshethra Kalapeedam, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment.

4. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition along with a copy of the judgment for compliance. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
