JUDGMENT
The grievance of the petitioner is with regard to non-issuance of genuineness certificate to the petitioner by the 3rd respondent, despite favourable report submitted by the village officer/4th respondent in this regard, referring to oral direction given by the first respondent.
2. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the third respondent had issued genuineness certificate in favour of the petitioner in the year 2011, as borne by Ext. P6. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the only relief now pressed before this Court is to cause Ext. P4 representation preferred by the petitioner for issuance of genuineness certificate to be considered and disposed of within a reasonable time.
3. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
4. Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to adjudicate the matter of merits. The writ petition is disposed of, directing the third respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext. P4 representation, in accordance
W.P.(C) No. 7276 of 2015 : 2 :
with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, at the earliest, at any rate, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along with copy of the writ petition before the third respondent for further steps.
