JUDGMENT

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.C.J.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader. No notice is being issued to respondents 4 to 6 in view of the order which is being passed.

2. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking for police protection. Allegations have been made against the 6th respondent, who according to the petitioners, at the instance of 4th respondent, has threatened the petitioners. Petitioners claim to have filed a complaint, Ext.P2, on 26.02.2015.

Learned State Attorney after obtaining instructions submitted that the complaint filed by the petitioners has been enquired and it has been found that the dispute between the parties is of civil nature regarding a transaction. It is also submitted that as on date, there is no threat of any nature.

WP(C) No. 7306 of 2015 -:2:- Recording the above submission, we close the Writ Petition. We however observe that, if there is any commission of offence or attempt to commit offence, on the complaint of the petitioner, the Police shall make necessary enquiry and do the needful.
